Description
Join SAIC’s OneSETA Team to provide our government customer with Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) support. SETA services range from providing administrative assistance to providing expert technical assistance on national efforts that will contribute to maintaining and expanding the capabilities of homeland security.
The Operations Research Analyst Sr Manager will support the DHS Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) Operations and Requirements Analysis (ORA) Division by providing analyses and assessments supporting the development, integration, implementation and/or fielding of required new capabilities as well as monitoring and maintaining the adequacy and operation of existing DHS capabilities. SETA support will also inform policy formulation and decision support to the DHS Joint Requirements Council (JRC)/S&T and entities that engage with the JRC. This includes delivery of specified formal reports and/or documents deemed necessary in the execution of that programmatic support.
For this position at DHS S&T, the Operations Research Analyst Sr Manager will provide authoritative analysis in leading and directing:
For SAIC, an Operations Research Analyst Sr Manager will formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions. May collect and analyze data and develop decision support software, service, or products. May develop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation. Interprets results and formulates insights and findings underpinned by the data analysis. Applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts. Contributes to development of new principles and concepts. Participates with senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. Recommends/makes decisions on administrative or project work matters and ensures effective achievement of program, project, or organizational objectives. Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious. Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product. Serves as organization spokesperson on advanced projects and/or programs. Acts as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.
