Description
SAIC is seeking a Business Development Associate (REMOTE) to serve on the BD Agile Response Team, which supports the Health, State & Local, and Federal Financial (HSF) Business Unit (BU). The Business Analyst will support the BD ART and the advancement of excellence across the HSF BU. Daily tasks include supporting the development of process assets and customer-facing artifacts, managing detailed capture plans, capturing action items across pipeline calls, and managing permissions for BD IT sites (e.g., SharePoint, Atlassian).
• Work with BD ART (e.g., capture managers, solution architects, technical writers, proposal managers) to support proposals, internal initiatives, and BD artifacts
• Maintain and update Jira and Confluence pages (e.g., epics, tasks, capture plans) for BD
• Attend regular BD meetings and capture action items, track completion of tasks, and support closure of BD tasks
• Maintain contract vehicle opportunity trackers; create list-serve announcements for opportunities off of contract vehicles (e.g., VA T4NG, Alliant, CIO-SP3)
• Support administration of HSF BU SharePoint site
• Assist in development of internal presentations (e.g., briefings, decks, articles)
• Use critical thinking and analytical abilities to learn and understand BD concepts
• Maintaining opportunity information in corporate tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Jira, Confluence)
• Working closely with staff across departments to implement growth strategies
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
• Willing to familiarize yourself with the company's vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives
• Maintain an effective working relationship with team members and stakeholders
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management and coworkers
Qualifications
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors Degree and 0 years related experience.

• Ability to deliver on deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible and extended hours as needed
• Good attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Experience
• 2+ years of professional experience
• Experience working with proposals preferred
