Description
SAIC is seeking a seasoned Senior ServiceNow Analyst who possesses knowledge of ITIL.
Responsibilities
· Assist in building and maintaining internal technical documentation, manuals, policies, and processes;
· Understand how ServiceNow can enable the client to become more efficient and configure the platform to achieve measurable benefits;
· Working closely with IT and business partners to configure and improve core platform capabilities in accordance with ITIL best practices.
· Guardian of all master copies of software and documentation Assets and CIs registered with Configuration Management Database
· Control the receipt, identification, storage, and withdrawal of all supported IT assets and CIs
· Provide information on the status of IT assets and CIs including attributes related to areas such as alignment with FSC services/products, contractual information including costs and support coverage periods, etc.
· Number, record, store and distribute Configuration Management issues
· Assist in the identification of products and CIs
· Maintain inventory along with current status information on IT assets and CIs
· Assist in conducting asset and configuration audits
· Experience with CMDB, workflow and other related
· Collaborate with business stakeholders, business operations, and product engineering teams
· Coordinate activities with other technical personnel as appropriate
· Able to clearly articulate understanding of Problem, Change and Event Management processes
· Ability to work independently with minimal direction providing technical and non-technical support to multiple users
· Capable of working under pressure, while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
· Ability to work overtime and weekends required on occasion
· Experience providing services to the federal government is preferred
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering, or related technical discipline is preferred
· 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer/Administrator or similar role
· 8 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for education
Preferred
· ITIL V3 Certified is a plus
· Ability to work independently with minimal direction providing technical and non-technical support to multiple users
