JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides centralized services to multiple HR areas and is responsible for policy interpretation, administration and education. Implements and administers human resources programs, policies, and practices in a shared services center environment in areas such areas as compensation, benefits and the processing of employee actions. Responds to employee inquiries, questions and complaints; provides information, guidance and direction on HR programs, processes, and procedures to employees and managers. Tracks and compiles issue logs and complaints; provides feedback on HR policy and programs to area specialists and management. SCOPE: N/A LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT: N/A KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITY: Limited use and/or application of principles, theories, and concepts. Limited knowledge of industry practices and standards. Receives predetermined work assignment with specific instructions. PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures. FREEDOM TO ACT: Work is closely supervised. Follow specific, detailed instructions. IMPACT: Contributions are usually limited to task-related activities. Errors do not typically have a major effect on the organization. LIASON: Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, project leaders, and other professionals in the group.
Qualifications
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience, additional experience will be consider in lieu of degree.
US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
