SAIC is seeking a qualified Team Lead candidate who has experience leading high performance teams in science and research, IT services, and operations and maintenance. Support location will be in Silver Spring, MD. 

Team Lead position is responsible for: 
- Planning, programming, and documenting telecommunications requirements and providing telecommunications project management and technical support to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Ocean Service (NOS).

- Overseeing the transfer of all NOS telecommunication services to a new system.

- Ensuring transition is executed to schedule and budget.

- Coordinating implementation activities, providing effective team leadership, including information flow to and from program offices during the transition.

- Providing overall Project Management and Telecom Analyst service and support initiatives for all telecommunications projects.

- Providing overall Project Management and Telecom Analyst service and support initiatives for all telecommunications projects.

- Coordinating installations and de-installations of telecom services.

- Monitoring the effectiveness of installations and ensuring that appropriate recommendations for change are made. 
 

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience managing highly complex system integrations of
 multiple vendor hardware/software environment. 
- Federal contracting experience. 
- Ability to pass Government background investigation. 
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
