Description
· Provide technical expertise supporting various technical activities to the ERAM program office and its technical staff.
· Support the development and technical reviews of NextGen concepts deployed by the ERAM Program Office
· Support development of final Program and System Specification Development Requirements (fPR and SSD).
· Review the Level A and Level B requirements developed by the ERAM vendor.
· Review and provide recommended solutions developed by the ERAM vendor.
· Participate in the requirements verification by SLE and the ERAM vendor.
· Work closely with Program Manager and Project Leads, System Engineering and Implementation staff to facilitate resolution of technical issues (this may include coordination among several FAA organizations, facilities, and vendors).
· Prepare and deliver program documentation, such as presentations, briefings, charts, graphs, etc.
· Perform planning, tracking, monitoring of program status, action items, and activities.
· Support program meetings by developing required documentation, such as meeting agendas, minutes, lesson learned, etc.
· Review and prepare program reports.
Qualifications
· 30+ years of experience supporting the FAA.
· Bachelors' degree or multiple years' experience as an Enroute Air Traffic Controller.
· Solid understanding of air traffic in the en route domain.
· Knowledge of ERAM test procedures, plans and scenario develop, including ability to support test conduct, including CRV and PRV events, create test scripts, write test tools, write tools, and create test scripts.
· Understanding of NextGen capabilities integrated with ERAM.
· Ability to interpret and analyze ERAM requirements and functionality, and provide recommendations and solutions to the ERAM PO or SLE.
· Experience developing ERAM Use Cases, capturing functionality with ERAM.
· Experience implementing automation functionality and integrating with Tech Ops and FAST.
· Solid understanding of ERAM CHI assessment, design and testing.
· Ability to communicate with various organizations within the FAA, including AJM, AJV, AJT, ANG, and NATCA.
· Experience developing integrated test procedures, validating operational concepts and program requirements.
· Experience facilitating technical meetings with multiple PMO organizations and multiple prime vendors to find technical solutions, considering the impacts of cost, schedule, and quality.
· Skilled in using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language.
· Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task.
· Detailed-oriented mindset and proficiency in researching and analyzing highly technical information and systems.
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
· Proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as having the ability to identify and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of system investments.
· Technical understanding of the FAA's automation and traffic management systems.
· Excellent troubleshooting skills.
· Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
