Description
SAIC is seeking a Principal Program Control Analyst to support our customer within the Space Systems Command (SSC) under the Special Programs (SP) Directorate by providing program oversight and management, resource analysis, budget execution, and financial management support.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
Review status of projects and budgets
Develop and maintain organizational financial databases
Coordinate financial issues, tasks, and requests for senior leader decision and information briefings
Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
Manage financial resourcing for current and future DoD acquisition programs with diverse funding types including Procurement, Research and Development, and Operations and Maintenance, using the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution (PPBE) process
Assist in management of contract actions
Coordinate with subject matter experts to identify budgetary estimates
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
Coordinate and attend financial management meetings and reviews
Participate in budget queries
Prepare financial status reports
Perform budget execution and administration work involving monitoring current year and prior year obligations incurred and actual expenditures of budgets
Perform budget formulation work involving preparation of detailed analyses and estimates of funding needs for one or more budget years
Qualifications
