SAIC’s Space Resiliency Programs is in need of a junior-level optical analyst to help us turn ideas into useable solutions for DoD and IC customers. Emphasis on application of algorithms to handle real-world systems representing networks of communication, data organization, and the flow of computation. Applicants need to be interested in solving technical problems. Our team has SMEs across a variety of disciplines including physics, math, RF, optics, aerospace, and others working new and challenging problems in the space domain. Our job is to quantify system performance, inform system requirements, and develop CONOPs.
Qualifications
- Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.
Desired:
• Experience using C, Python, MATLAB, VB, and/or STK
• Using FIST/COAST modeling software
• Experience modeling and simulating optical scenes from space sensors
