SAIC has a potential opportunity for a Senior Scheduling Lead to support the Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) Wallops, Island, VA Programs Support Services.  Position will be located in Wallops Island, VA.

This position is contingent upon contract award which is expected May 2022.

Participates in the planning, tracking analysis, and reporting on projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk. Responsibilities may include: implementation of financial policies and procedures in support of projects; establishment and maintenance of cost/schedule baselines; development of WBS and related dictionaries, schedules or Resource Loaded Networks (RLN's) and budgets; implementation of Earned Value methodologies and performs related variance analyses; and preparation of written and verbal reports to management regarding cost schedule variances. Individuals in this family have significant interface with Project Managers, Contracts, Senior Technical Personnel, as well as other organizations. They may participate in new business proposals through schedule and RLN support, providing input and cost volumes to management. Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree, an additional four (4) years experience in lieu of degree.
  • Seven (7) years overall experience with AEGIS or SSDS combat system baseline configurations, to include supporting elements and equipment, communication systems, and a good understanding of the interdependencies and interfaces associated with these systems.
  • Five (5) years of experience in the de-confliction of complex events and shared equipment; concise and accurate understanding of items that impact current and future scheduled events; ability to generate high-level and detailed projections; ability to forecast complex schedules; proficiency using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) along with other database programs. 
  • Three (3) years of experience utilizing the Test Resource Management System is required.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must have an Interim Secret clearance to start work with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Secret clearance is preferred
