SAIC is currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Deputy Program Manager to join our team and begin an exciting and challenging career with Air Force EITaas EUS. This position allows for 100% remote work.

 

The Deputy Program Manager will support the Program Manager and EITaaS project by developing project plans, executing sub-projects, ensuring back-office programmatic functions are maintained, and validate operation managers have the needed items to be successful.

 

In this role you will:

  • Design and Implement process and change interventions that integrate strategy, technology, and people to enable process improvements that create value for clients
  • Maintain understanding of changing market trends, new products, and provide insight to Program Manager and USAF
  • Ensure organizational communications reach the intended project and operations staff
  • Support Operations Manager with needed items and information to attain SLAs/OLAs
  • Support cross-vendor collaboration and SLA/OLA development
  • Approaches people directly and openly, but discreetly, over poor performance
  • Documents risks, assumptions, and constraints
  • Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to monitor the progress of the project
  • Communicates a sense of urgency when dealing with client issues/opportunities

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Masters of Business Administration degree preferred and minimum 16 years of Program Management, Operations Management, or Organizational Change Management experience, or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with 18 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with the US DOD required, AF Staff Officer, or Senior NCO at the Brigade or Division level, or higher a plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Project and Visio
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional presentation skills with experience briefing senior military officials
  • Must be a team player
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems independently
  • ITIL Foundations certification a plus
  • PMP Certification a plus
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow a plus
  • Secret clearance or higher is required
  • Must be a US citizen

Target salary range: $195,001 - $205,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
