SAIC is seeking a Senior Software Systems Engineer for its NAVAIR Product Line Systems and Software Support Services for the CV-22 Osprey.

This is a remote/virtual position that can be based nationwide. 

• Conduct detailed planning of software content for CV-22 Avionics based on program and fleet priorities
• Coordinating software fixes, changes, and updates with government and contractor engineering teams
• Organizing and managing Software Configuration Review Boards
• Prioritizing software changes and updates for future software releases
• Lead software scheduling, design reviews, and test readiness reviews
• Support Government engineering leadership team meetings, flight test and integration meetings, and technical review meetings

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.

• 12+ years of recent experience in design, manufacturing, and testing of electronic components, subassemblies, and systems
• 12+ years of managing engineers in the design, development, and testing of computer software
• 10+ years of detailed analysis, review, and technical document preparation related to software changes and cost estimates
• 4+ years of recent experience with developing software fixes, changes, and updates

DESIRED:

• Prior experience supporting the V-22 Osprey Software

CLEARANCE:

• US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Target salary range: $150,001 - $175,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
