SAIC is also recognized as an IT leader in the intelligence and law enforcement spaces.  We have an exciting opportunity with the a large law enforcement agency, with unique mission needs, located in the DC metro area.  We are seeking an individual to join the team who is fully committed to the success of the program and bringing the best innovation, implementation, and attitudes to bear to the position. 

This individual will use current information technology disciplines and practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of corporate information assets in accordance with established standards and procedures. They will develop and maintain a knowledge base of changing regulation, threats and technology landscapes to continually develop or maintain security policies and standards. They will be responsible for ensuring compliance throuhghout the organization. This individual will perform certification and accreditation and other IA/CND compliance and auditing processes and inspections for all enterprise systems and networks. They will ensure validity and accurcy of all associated documentaiton. They will participate in security event monitoring and correlation as well as have the ability to leverage CND analyst toolsets to detect and respond to IT security incidents.

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience.

Minimum Secret clearance required
