SAIC is seeking a skilled and experienced Information Technology training expert, who will be responsible for the successful delivery of training and coaching.. This role will be located in Sterling, VA but does allow teleworks options in Northern Virginia area with up to 25% CONUS/OCONUS travel.

What you will be doing:

  • Conduct new capability training and deployment by providing distributed, virtual and in-person classroom instruction to End Users.
  • Assist with developing procedures, plans, schedules and documents required for execution of the deployment process in accordance with CBP policies and procedures.
  • Develop and review training documentation and facilitate Training/deployment events.
  • Provide Daily Situation Reports (SITREP) to Training and Deployment Team Lead throughout duration of each training / deployment activity.
  • Administer surveys, questionnaires, written exams and practical exercises to students as required at the conclusion of each selected event.
  • Validate and recommend changes and updates to training materials and technical documentation (i.e., Users Guides, Enterprise Help, Training Plans, training aids, handouts, and POIs).
  • Participate in all aspects of system development such as Agile Sprints, Features and Demonstrations, User Experiences (UX) and Limited User Testing (LUT).
  • Review and document feedback on training data related to Training Support Packages (TSP) and other Enterprise Help Desk areas.
  • Participate in conduct of Training Readiness Reviews conducted IAW TRADOC Regulation 350-70 using the Instructor Evaluation Criteria. Remedy deficiencies that are not IAW with the regulation within 14-days.
  • Inspect/survey proposed training sites/facilities for adequate power/LAN specifications, etc. Inspection results shall be provided to the Team Lead. Demonstrated ability to teach new technologies to audiences of varying technical skill levels and experience. 5+ years of experience providing technical training and coaching.
  • Experience providing virtual training.
  • Experience developing training materials
  • Experience delivering training to End Users

Qualifications

What You Need for this Position:

Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.

Position Requirements:

  • CBP Clearance required to start
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
