SAIC is seeking a Vendor Management Specialist to support the Proposal Development Center (PDC). The PDC supports the company by assisting with proposal development, preparation, and submission in the pursuit of new business opportunities.
The primary role of the candidate is to operate as the iSTKS (vendor timekeeping system) administrator for vendors providing support to the proposal development center (PDC).
Additionally, the candidate will:
o Set up iSTKS accounts for and communicate account information to new vendors.
o Assist PDC Leadership Team and Staffing Manager by setting up tasks for existing vendors as needed.
o Verifying naming convention of tasks and charge codes are accurate in iSTKS.
o Review and update Pre-B&P to B&P tasks as they become available.
o Reviewing the average 50 timecards a week for task and charge code accuracy. Any issues with timecards create a ripple effect in budgets and cost overrun problems.
o Transactional Accounting ensure cost transfers are occurring against accurate, open pre-B&P and B&P charge codes.
o Support the quarterly re-certification of vendor network accounts by pulling timecard data Closing iSTKS accounts for decertified vendors.
o Maintain the non-employee list in VPC to reflect accurate vendor information.
o Communicate action items and holiday schedules via scheduled emails and marque updates.
While operating as the Travel POC, the candidate will also:
o Document the travel process and update with SAIC changes as needed.
o Communicate the travel process to vendors.
o Assist travelers with online Travel Leader's Profile.
o Work with each agency to provide assistance in accurately submitting travel invoices.
o Share necessary information to set up vendor's ability to travel.
o Assist vendors with accurately completing travel reimbursement requests and submitting invoices.
o Maintain standard travel documentation in VPC.
