Description

The Contracts Manager will be responsible for proposing and administering large scale Firm Fixed Price, defined delivery contracts. The Contracts Manager will be a leader on the Program Team, having the ability to self-motivate, influence and proactively engage with customers and guide the Program Team through the contractual and legal requirements of a complex systems integration contract while possessing the following:

  • Ability to effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal and external business partners and interact with senior leadership.
  • Ability to resolve highly complex issues, develop negotiating strategies and provide creative solutions.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

This position is 100% remote nationwide. 

Primary duties and responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and fully understanding the RFP/contract and any changes, and provide daily guidance to the Program Team.
  • Providing leadership in contract execution, anticipating and resolving problems, and ensuring inter-group communication and cooperation.   
  • Assesses issues, risks, and develops solutions.
  • Work with Procurement/Supplier Management to help develop a supplier strategy, based on the prime contract.
  • Responsible for compliance with all Government contract requirements, internal policies, and all Federal, State and applicable laws.
  • Supporting the Program Manager by providing guidance on contractual requirements and developing business strategies to continually improve contract position.
  • Preparing compliant TINA covered cost proposals/narratives.
  • Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships with Contracting Officer and Contracts Specialist.
  • Maintain a contract baseline with requirements and responsibilities, continually briefing new Program Team members on contractual obligations.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors from an accredited institution and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years or more experience
  • TS/SCI Clearance needed to be obtained

Target salary range: $155,001 - $165,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
