Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior System Administrator with strong knowledge of creating plans to assure effective management, operations and maintenance of systems and or networks. We are looking for someone who has extensive knowledge of a wide variety of Microsoft systems and networks to include high volume/high availability systems. We are considering highly technical individuals who possess leadership skills and a positive attitude. 


Responsibilities

  • Senior Administrator level support of applications in a Windows and Linux environment
  • Participate in technical research and development to enable continuous innovation within the infrastructure
  • Resolve a wide range of hardware and network technology issues in a fast-paced environment
  • First escalation resource for Tier-3 troubleshooting for all assigned service desk tickets from creation to resolution
  • Ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational SLAs
  • Troubleshooting ranges from basic issues to email related issues for Executive level users
  • Evaluate systems and upgrades for appropriateness.
  • Oversee implement system upgrade strategies.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex solutions.
  • Coordinate activities with other technical personnel as appropriate.
  • Develop and analyze highly complex system standards, thresholds, and recommendations to maximize system performance.
  • Responsible for maintaining all server-side Security Certificates to ensure compliance with the cyber security policy. Provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and network infrastructure
  • Maintain standard image for Windows platforms
  • Develop\Document strategies to manage the frequency of installations of the support package releases and patch.
  • Research\Document current systems technologies and serve as subject matter expert on complex systems processes and procedures
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned

 
 
 
 
 

Qualifications

Requirements·

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering, or related technical discipline is preferred
  • 8 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role
    • 4 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for education


Preferred
· Hands on Experience with Kofax/SAS
· Hands on Experience with the Informatica PowerCenter v10x Software Installation and Configuration
· Knowledge and/or Experience with administration of Enterprise Data Quality, 
· Experience with administration Informatica DQ and PC modules.
· Experience with administration of MDM tool
· PowerShell scripting is highly desirable
· Jenkins/ Inf
· Informatica/ Power Shell
· Application A Tracking
· MS Active Directory administration (Users, Groups, GPO, Security, etc.)
· Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills are required
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills for Desktops and Laptops
· Ability to work independently with minimal direction providing technical and non-technical support to multiple users
· Capable of working under pressure, while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
· Ability to work overtime and weekends required on occasion
· Experience providing services to the federal government is preferred
