The qualified applicant will support the US Space Force, Space Warfighting Analysis Center’s (SWAC) Force Design Integration Office (FDIO) in Colorado Springs, CO, with anticipated travel in support of the SWAC priorities.  The Force Design Integration applicant will integrate strategic guidance, operational scenarios, and SWAC-wide analysis into a cohesive Force Design at multiple classification levels on an annual basis.  The applicant should also be familiar with multiple space-related capabilities and must be able to understand complex analysis to create a cohesive, integrated Force Design at multiple classification levels on a recurring basis.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support & integrate SWAC capability area force designs into an Integrated Force Design
• Create and communicate the Chief of Space Operations’ strategic-level Force Design Guidance document
• Prioritize science and technology needs and act as SWAC’s primary interface with CTIO & SpOC
• Prioritize concepts
• Recommend investment priorities
• Recommend, document, and maintain SWAC-derived requirements
• Assist in the set up and execution of Force Design forums
• Capture and recommend force design dependencies and opportunities (joint, intelligence community, industry, international and other government organizations)
• Support or lead high-visibility capability efforts
• Act as the USSF lead for joint campaign scenarios
• Maintain OSD scenarios and joint force design drivers
• Interface with Air and Space Staff and USSF Field Commands
• Support innovative ways to employ new space capabilities in support of the joint warfighting community

Qualifications

EDUCATION: STEM-related Masters and ten (10) years' or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.

REQUIRED EXPRERIENCE: 

• Strong technical and operations background
• 10 years' joint space operations experience
• Experience with space design and/or architecture development
• Experience with DoD, IC and Commercial Satellite systems in SCI/SAP environment
• Experience with tactical ground systems

DESIRED EXPRERIENCE: 

• 4+ years Joint Operational Planning / Joint integration experience 
• 5 years of Commercial Space Advanced Development 
• SAASS or Space Weapons School Graduate

Target salary range: $145,001 - $155,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
