SAIC is seeking a Physicist Associate in Fort Sam Houston, Texas! 

Role & Responsibilities to include:

• Investigate motion and gravity, the behavior of gases, the structure and behavior of matter, the generation and transfer of energy, and the interaction between matter and energy.
• May specialize in one or more branches of physics and be so designated by job title. Conduct research into phases of physical phenomena, developing theories and laws on basis of observation and experiments, and devise methods to apply laws and theories of physics to specific fields and problems.
• Common applications of knowledge of physics to practical matters include the development of computers, transistors, laser beams, acoustics, electricity and magnetism, electronics, heat, light, mechanics, radiation, optics, communications satellites, and a wide variety of other devices.
• Physicists solve problems in industry, energy, medicine, defense, and other fields. (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee's job content. Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee).
• Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and 0 years related experience.

Target salary range: $50,001 - $75,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
