SAIC is seeking a GEOINT Systems Engineer to support the Landmark AOS contract. The position will be located in Chantilly, VA, and requires an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.

LANDMARK AOS is a large SETA contract, supporting the customer’s Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle. 

In this role, you will perform Systems Engineering activities related to Information Technology or engineering including: requirements definition, scheduling, analysis and engineering. The candidate may also support the customer’s Action Officer Functions, Systems Engineering providing expert advice, assistance, and assessments for organizational and business improvement efforts. 

Key functions include:

  • Work closely with the Government customer and make recommendations related to management of the requirements, schedule or Systems Engineering functions
  • Directing/overseeing the receipt, tasking, tracking and closure of applicable tasks
  • Prepare reports on action status and keep leadership aware of late, pending and new actions
  • Interact with multiple Acquisition Offices (AOs), facilitating risk and action closure with Acquisition Offices and users
  • Support technical consultation, meeting coordination, and support to recommendation briefings
  • Consolidate office and Program Office input and develop the Weekly Activity Report (WAR)
  • Coordinate and maintain program schedules
  • Conduct strategic planning and provide logistical support for meetings
  • Draft correspondence as needed by leadership
  • Perform reviews and provide technical edit support to all official documents
  • Other duties as assigned pertaining to strategic communication supporting program office

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or 20 years of applicable experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD and 4 years related experience

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in a Technical, Business or related discipline and a minimum of 6 years within Government or 5 years within intelligence Community or Department of Defense; or an Associate’s degree with 5 years direct experience within the NRO customer organization or 4+ years in lieu of Bachelors
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and standard computer applications
  • Demonstrated ability to work in high visibility customer offices
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing requirements and tasks and managing longer-term tasks as well as short-term obligations
  • Communicate effectively with senior management, as well as employees at all levels
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience supporting acquisition strategy, development and release planning, as well as continuous integration initiatives supporting mission capability releases enabling End to End GEOINT missions
  • Commitment to recognize, understand, respect and collaborate effectively within various SETA, FFRDC, and Government lines of authority
  • Strong writing/reporting and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible in a constantly changing business landscape

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in engineering and/or acquisition of IC and/or DoD spacecraft systems
  • Knowledge of IC and/or DoD acquisition roles, processes, and/or program management
  • Intermediate to advanced user proficiency with customer action tracking tool
  • Agile, AWS or DevOps certification
  • Familiarity with overall GEOINT ground customer, including technical familiarity with mission control and/or processing of one or more GEOINT systems (including sensor knowledge)
