SAIC is seeking a Cyber Analyst in the Washington, DC metro area to support our Risk Management Framework (RMF) automation team.

NOTE: This is a 100% remote opportunity
 
Job Description:
 
The candidate will support the assessment and authorization of NIST and RMF-based system security plans and documents for multiple organizations within the Federal Civilian and DoD market space.  Reviews of technical controls and plan documentation are required to be completed on Department/Agency internal and external system security plans to ensure that appropriate levels of safeguards are implemented and maintained.  Perform vulnerability assessments, using various scanning tools and processes.  Coordinate with end-user organizations to perform corrective measures.

Required Experience:

• BS degree and two (2) years or more of related experience; four (4) of experience in lieu of degree

Required Skills:  

• Experience performing information system security assessments and/or maintaining system security plans.
• Solid understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Must possess strong oral and written skills
• Knowledge of NIST documentation (specifically SP 800-53 Rev 4/5 and SP 800-37), continuous monitoring, and risk management.

Required Clearance:

• An active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.

 Desired Skills:

• Experience with vulnerability scanning, digital forensics and intrusion detection tools
• In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience with various endpoint security, vulnerability, and enumeration tools
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I or higher baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE)

Target salary range: $75,001 - $85,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
