Job Description


As part of the Asset/Inventory Management Team you will perform support and administrative functions as part of the day-to-day operations of an IT asset/inventory management environment.  When required, you will escalate operational concerns to POCs for the given infrastructure service or program area. Responsibilities include performing tasks related to the administration of government customer property. Responsibilities may be in one or more of the 15 functional areas: property management, acquisition, receiving, identification, records, movement, storage, inventories, reports, consumption, utilization, maintenance, disposition, and closeout. Work is completed using sound business judgment to meet customer requirements in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws. 

  • Perform daily Asset/Configuration Management functions 
  • Track Inbound/Outbound inventory assets
  • Perform shipping operations for outbound equipment
  • Perform annual inventory to ensure accuracy of records
  • Rack and de-rack servers
  • Update electronic records with inventory changes
  • Perform system check of servers and troubleshoot issues if necessary
  • Open trouble tickets with vendor or in internal ticketing system when needed
  • Assist with process improvement recommendations
  • Ensure client satisfaction by having a customer first approach to asset management


Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years or more of related experience or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of concentrated hands-on experience in Inventory/Asset Management
  • Good Interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. 
  • Must be able to work with groups to accomplish business goals and improve processes
  • Must be able to lift loads of up to 75 pounds
