Position Summary
The Project Integrator is a critical function of SAIC’s Enterprise IT Managed Service organization, serving as an interface point with our customers both internal and external and provides feedback on service delivery in the “voice” of our customer.  With a customer-centric perspective, the Project Integrator will interface between SAIC’s Managed Services delivery organization, internal business stakeholders, and our customers.

The role of the Project Integrator is to:

  1. Actively support service delivery through collaboration with our customer leadership to evaluate the value received from SAIC IT services
  2. Serve as an intake and delivery focal point for feedback on services provided and set expectation for service adjustments and/or wider scope in the near term
  3. Share and shape demand of our customers by:

a. Developing a profound understanding of our customers’ service needs
b. Bringing perspectives from other customers and industry across all our customers
c. Shaping demand management for the development of new and the revision of existing services

Essential Functions:

  • Initiate and develop relationships between IT, business stakeholders, and external customers and serve as a liaison between them
  • Serves as an advisor to business stakeholders to shape their strategy with regard to technology and ensure they are aware of service offerings.
  • Advances and promotes IT’s role as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the business units.
  • Provide recommendations to functional business leaders for optimizing technology to drive digital transformation, user satisfaction, and 
  • Gathers high-level business requirements and defines scope during initial discovery by conducting meetings/interviews and facilitating large group/cross-functional sessions with partners.
  • Work with Information Technology Leadership Team to develop systemic solutions to meet business requirements and drive business growth.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of company’s structure, business processes and technology suite to educate functional business leaders.
  • Participates in development of business strategic planning and IT strategic planning.
  • Leads in the development of business cases requiring IT-based solutions.
  • Interfaces with vendors to understand whether vendor products will meet business requirements.
  • Maintains up-to-date awareness of industry and technology trends and makes recommendations for implementation of new/upgraded systems and technologies.
  • Maintains knowledge of multiple business functions and initiatives to identify where conflicts/synergies exist between technologies and business functions.
  • Support business project planning, project management, project reporting, and assist in the resolution of escalated service management or project management issues.
  • Act as the customer service and strategic advisory services focal point.
  • Promote collaboration with internal technology teams and external technology vendors.
  • Serve as a strategic partner for assigned business units, and corporate project management to prioritize initiatives and align IT products and services to business strategy. 
  • Represent the business in communicating IT services and capabilities.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the business partner’s strategic direction, business needs and drivers, culture, and existing systems, and provide support to partners in aligning their IT strategies to business objectives, program, and service delivery responsibilities.
  • Develop long-range improvement strategies to support business strategy with business partners.
  • Outline risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units.
  • Focus on business value rather than solutions to develop ideas, including digital awareness, risk assessments, business continuity, and business capability requirements.
  • Correlate business value and priorities to planning activities and goal-setting.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the business partner’s business unit and build positive relationship development, both horizontally and vertically.
  • Ensure project and initiative progress, including consistent and effective communication. This includes managing escalation and avoiding risk.
  • Measure and communicate business value realized with the business partner on a periodic basis.
  • Establish communication processes and channels across business functions.
     

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 8+ years of business management related experience; managed service delivery and/or government industry experience preferred
  • 5+ years of strategic experience in the business relationship management function
  • 5+ years of experience facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects, based on management objectives

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business/Finance or a related field 

Certifications:
Business Relationship Management Professional (BRMP) preferred
Certified Business Relationship Manager (CBRM) preferred
Master of Business Relationship Management (MBRM) preferred
ITIL / DevOps / Agile certification desired

Experience:

  • 8+ years of business management related experience; managed service delivery and/or government industry experience preferred
  • 5+ years of strategic experience in the business relationship management function
  • 5+ years of experience facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects, based on management objectives

Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
