SAIC is seeking a Physical Security Principal to support the security organization as part of the Physical/Technical Security team. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to oversee all enterprise guard services and badging operations. Duties will include managing a guard services contract with approximately 250 officers, ensuring established performance goals within the statement of work (SOW) and standard operating procedures (SOP’s) are met by partnering with internal stakeholders and the contractor’s account manager. Additionally, the position will lead the enterprise badging program responsible for badging all of SAIC’s 25K+ employees and associated customers/contractors. This will include properly documented associated processes, training/supervising access control administrators, managing the ticketing system, and overseeing badge distribution operations. 

Additional duties and/or responsibilities: 

  • Creating/updating written policies, procedures and related documentation such as SOW’s, SOP’s, Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), User Guides and training material
  • Contract performance management through the use of systems, tools, and processes such as SLA’s, metrics, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’s)
  • Sponsorship and administrative management of contract employees such as sponsoring badges, corporate accounts, computing systems, and telecommunications devices
  • Review and approve all invoices for guard services on a monthly basis
  • Work closely with internal business partners, IT, Facilities, Finance, and other Security members to capture, plan for, and execute new or changing security requirements
  • Identifying and addressing areas for improvement as a subject matter expert

 

Position requires an active Top Secret security clearance

This position is 100% remote and can be worked from anywhere within the US

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • A Top Secret security clearance is required 
  • Bachelors and 10 years or more experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and six (6) years or more experience. In lieu of a degree, we will consider additional years of experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Lenel knowledge/experience as the corporate access control system
  • Must have strong interpersonal and briefing skills; communicate with senior level internal and external personnel on matters requiring coordination between organizations and independent decision making with minimal direct supervision
  • Experience creating enterprise level policy and procedures
  • The ability to successfully communicate and partner with others to maximize desired results

Target salary range: $115,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
