As a Digital Engineer/Model-Based Systems Engineer, you will join a team of System Engineers charged with the development of next-generation network satellite payloads. Leveraging a program-specific Digital Ecosystem built upon commercial Digital Engineering (DE) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) software, you will collaborate with the military client, Program Management, other System Engineers, Specialty Engineers, and subcontractors to execute a Digital Thread integrating requirements, a multi-level system architecture, test artifacts, risk artifacts, multifactorial analyses, and the configuration management of each baseline generated.

The SAIC team is highly collaborative and communicative, using industry standard online tools to coordinate their efforts.

This position may require supporting multiple programs and/or roles simultaneously. Interested personnel should be comfortable with multi-tasking and able to provide written/verbal status updates on each project on a regular basis to their team leads.

If selected, the candidate will have the opportunity to telework but may be required, based on mission need, to provide on-sight support when applicable and appropriate.

  • Work collaboratively in a DE environment, integrating data from across Systems Engineering disciplines into a cohesive system model
  • Develop and extend system models using existing requirements, interface documentation, and related Design and Systems Engineering documents
  • Develop and extend system models for the creation of system and subsystem specifications, interface specifications, CONOPS, Verification & Validation (V&V) documentation, Cybersecurity certification, Risk Management analyses & mitigations, and further Systems Engineering artifacts.
  • Integrate models within modern Requirements Management, Architecture, Analysis, and other Systems Engineering software

Support program reviews, including System Requirements Review (SRR), PDR, CDR, Pre-Ship Review (PSR) and Mission Readiness Review (MRR)

Qualifications
