SAIC has an immedaite need for an Engineering Technician I to support the HWIL Modeling Simulation Development (HMSD) team in Huntsville, AL.
The candidate will work in a hardware environment for mechanical and prototype assembly. The candidate will work in a small team that assembles limited quantities of various Army training prototype systems. The candidate should be willing and able to perform a 2-person lift of 150 lbs. The candidate should be able to solder surface mount components on printed circuit boards, build military cables with associated mil- spec connectors, able to use a computer, enter data in a database, and have organizational skills, such as tracking hardware inventory.
