Job Description


The Agile Coach will lead and facilitate teams through the agile framework to accelerate system development. The majority of work will be performed at the Portfolio Level. The position is located in Sterling, VA supporting a Government Customer.

Here’s what we are looking for in an Agile Coach:
Ability to work closely with system stakeholders and technical teams to help them understand and execute an approach to evaluating and prioritizing program capabilities and requirements.

  • Need scrum experience
  • Need coaching experience / agile mentoring – including demonstrating this experience
    • Demonstrate taking a person / team from Waterfall to Iterative (or Iterative to Agile or Agile to SAFe)
  • Need SAFe experience – not just familiarity or classroom experience (understanding of the methodology)
  • Need experience with Release Training


Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required and 3+ years of dedicated Agile experience. May consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • More than 3 years of experience as a certified scrum master, certified product owner, release train engineer, or Agile coach
  • Must be SAFe certified (SA or SPC)
  • Experience with technical product management and/or development of software-based products or services
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and verbal / written communication skills, able to convey information across multiple customer and corporate audiences
  • Ability to facilitate larger sessions or events for product planning, etc.
  • Capability to adapt to fluid situations and prioritize tasking in a dynamic environment.
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a CBP Public Trust.
