The SAIC Cloud One program is seeking a Sr. Modeling and Simulation Engineer with SME level experience using the Sparx tool suite to be a part of our Digital Engineering team to provide customers with support for implementing and using the Sparx tool suite. Cloud One is an existing global, interconnected, virtualized, hybrid, and IT infrastructure hosting mission systems, applications, services, and data that will serve the U.S. Air Force (USAF). Cloud One facilitates the USAF efforts to migrate applications to a cloud environment, allowing the closure of data centers to support the Data Center Optimization Initiative (DCOI) and allowing for increased efficiencies across the entire spectrum of USAF IT operations. The candidate for this position will be focused on Cloud One's Digital Engineering as a Service offering. 

Duties may include:

• Implementing, integrating and testing the Sparx tool suite and other tool suites in the cloud one environment;
• Troubleshooting issues related to modeling and simulation tools deployed to the AWS or Azure cloud, analyzing alternatives, and responding to customers to assist them with using the tool suite.  

Most work can be performed remotely with some future projects requiring work to be performed using SIPR from a SCIF location. After hours, on call support, may be needed at times to address high severity tickets.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of fourteen (14) years or more of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience in simulation and modeling using the Sparx tool suite

Minimum of three (3)+ years utilizing experience in a cloud environment.

Proven experience creating domain models.

DOD or Intelligence Agency experience preferred.

Minimum of seven (7)+ years MBSE experience including DoDAF. (4+ for mid-level)

Minimum of three (3)+ years with Sparx Enterprise Architect.  (1+ for mid-level)

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:

• OCSMP Intermediate certification

REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE:

Minimum Interim Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a final Secret Clearance
