SAIC is seeking a Cyber Ops Training Manager in Arlington VA to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) cyber community.

Note: This role offers 3-4 days of temporary work from home/ remote/ virtual work at home and 1 – 2 days onsite due to COVID-19.  Eventually the work will go back to being on site 5 days a week in Arlington, VA, at the Temple Army Readiness Center (TARC).

Job Duties:

  • Serve part of the staff team in support of the ARNG Multi-Domain Activities Division Intelligence Warfare (ARNG-MDAD-IW) Branch. 
  • Utilize knowledge of US Army training management to provide cyber and training SME support, management, planning, and coordination in support of ARNG cyber forces across the 54 States and territories.
  • Serve as ARNG-MDAD-IW’s cyber training representative and primary point of contact.
  • Facilitate individual and collective training for cyberspace operations.
  • Manage the ARNG-IW’s SANS training voucher account, valued at over $3 million.
  • Manage all ARNG allotments, nominations, and enrollments for the Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3) courses
  • Track required training for cyber soldiers and military intelligence soldiers assigned to cyber units, and provide support to Cyber Protection Team validation exercises. 
  • Prepare and staff documents, briefings, and other products in support of ARNG-MDAD-IW.
  • Up to 10%  of travel possible.


Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and eighteen (18+) years or more related experience OR Master’s Degree and ten (10+) years of related experience.
  • Active Top Secret clearance, eligible for SCI
  • 1+ year experience working with or for US Cyber Command, US Army Cyber Command, or another DoD cyber unit
  • Demonstrated detailed knowledge of Cyber concepts and requirements
  • Experience with SANS training voucher process managing cyber training budgets
  • Experience equivalent to a senior brigade operations NCO or assistant operations officer
  • Demonstrated Army or other service operational experience
  • Experience managing training, including tracking qualifications and providing detailed status reports
  • Strong skills with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong documentation and concise communication skills
  • Possess strong analytic and communication skills, work well independently without nearby corporate support
  • Experience equivalent to a brigade level staff officer or senior NCO, a plus
