The National Security Customer Group, DOD Agencies & Commands & Enterprise Services Directorate of SAIC currently has a full-time position for an Information Technology Specialist with an active TS/SCI Polygraph to support the United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), Fort Meade, Maryland.

Available shifts include:

• WEEKDAY DAYS:  TUE-FRI 0530-1530
• WEEKDAY NIGHTS:  TUE-FRI 2130-0730
• WEEKEND DAYS:  SAT&SUN 0530-1900; MON 0530-1830
• WEEKEND NIGHTS:  SAT&SUN 1730-0700; MON 1730-0630  
• WEEKDAYS:  MON-FRI 0800-1600

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will coordinate Joint Operations Center (JOC) information technology (IT) support with organizations such as the USCYBERCOM J6 – Command and Control C4 Systems and Information Technology, Global Enterprise Command Center (GECC), and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) as well as other information technology vendors and support organizations.

Responsibilities may include:

• Provides command, control, communications, and information support throughout the full spectrum of operations to include peacetime, emergency and disaster situations, crisis, contingency, and war.
• Receives and relays C2 instructions and records; collects, processes, and submits manual and automated data products.
• Disseminates time-sensitive critical information to senior leaders and support agencies.
• Facilitates daily battle rhythm events, ensuring they are running on time and in a repeatable fashion.  This entails setting up multiple forms of communication, video teleconference, and as needed sending emails.
• Processes official command message traffic, orders, and posts the finalized product to a web portal.
• Performs cross domain transfers in support of the USCYBERCOM mission.
• Answers phones and fields questions, directs inquiries to the appropriate offices, as well as, provides direct support to the customer and identifies solutions to problems as requested.
• Records relevant information throughout the day and log it appropriately in a pass down log to ensure continuity of operations.
• Manages operations of a Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) device.
• Sets up and manages conference call via the Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN), Skype video teleconference, and classified phone networks.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum five (5) years of experience as an IT Specialist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline; or three (3) years of experience with a Master’s Degree.
• Minimum DoD 8140/DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (CCNA Security, CySA, GICSP, GSEC, SECURITY+ CE, or SSCP).

• Active TS/SCI Polygraph
