Description
The Change Management Analyst will be a level Vanguard 2.2.1 point of contact for supporting the change management process for the Department of State’s Information Resources Management (IRM) bureau. The Change Management Analyst will support Vanguard 2.2.1 and the Government lead at the IRM Change Advisory Board (ICAB). On occasion, they may be required to represent Vanguard 2.2.1 at the board. The analyst will provide support, as requested, to the customer for any Change Management activities as specified in IRM policies and procedures. The Vanguard 2.2.1 Change Management Analyst may be asked to participate in the lifecycle of a change with the primary objective to achieve beneficial changes with minimum disruption to IT services.
The Change Management Analyst will assist the Change Management Technical Lead by providing support to the customer. The support will include maintaining and updating a schedule of planned approved changes; identify, document, communicate, and coordinate requests for changes (RFCs) with all affected customer entities and IT service providers; expedite emergency change requests; and documenting projected service outages as related to expected deviations from established service level agreements. The Change Management Analyst will assist in developing and maintaining change management documentation that may be included in the Vanguard 2.2.1 Daily Operations Status Report.
