SAIC is seeking a manager for the Knowledge Management team in the Proposal Development Center. This team supports the knowledge management tools that directly assist our BD, capture, proposal development, and solution development teams as they pursue new business opportunities.
This individual will be responsible for leading the maintenance and expansion of the KM tools, and leading development and implementation of new KM tools as needed. This includes identifying new capabilities and functionality in the existing tools, evaluating new tools, setting requirements and priorities for new development, overseeing resource allocations, and working with the Information Technology Organization to bring the new functionality to implementation. He or she will be responsible for creating project, implementation, and communications plans for the existing and new tools, and will manage the projects to completion.
The individual will be responsible for working with the Proposal Development Center and with organizations across the company to identify, gather, and maintain knowledge and content helpful to capture, BD, and proposal teams. He or she will work with KM and BD organizations across the company to improve KM processes in support of business goals. The individual will provide outreach to the BD and capture community.
This individual will manage the KM team in their daily activities as they identify new content for the KM tools and update existing content. He or she will work to coordinate activities between the KM team and other project teams as needed. He or she must also be able to create content and documentation from scratch using input from multiple sources.
This individual will interact with Sales Enablement management on reporting and goal-setting for the KM team. He or she will work with Sales Enablement management and Information Technology management on mapping future expansion plans for the KM tools and team. He or she will be responsible for the administrative management of the KM team.
