SAIC is seeking a Jr. or Mid-level Orbit Modeling Analyst to join the Space Resilency Programs. SAIC provides specialized program management, engineering, analysis and operations support to a variety of Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) customers.
This position participates in future concept and resilency studies for space constellations conducted by an internal group of technical subject matter experts across multiple disciplines. As a participant in these studies, knowledge of orbital mechanics, general spacecraft operations, and an interest in building and modifying existing simulation software is desired. The person gets to participate in critical modeling and simulation of space situational awareness and work with subject matter experts in a range of fields such as orbital dynamics, optics, RF, and modeling and simulation.
