Description

SAIC is seeking a Security and Facilities Support Specialist with an active TS/SCI to work at our location in Crystal City, VA. The candidate will assist our Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) and Assistant Contractor Special Security Officer (ACSSO) in the operations, maintenance and sustainment of a Government sponsored SCIF. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Responsible for overseeing the upkeep of facility equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards as well as ensuring fully functioning utilities.
-Identify, recommend, and track needed construction, tenant alterations, cyclical maintenance, furnishings, and space and facilities services.
-Coordinates work with third party vendors to include tracking work order completion, vendor and client follow up, validating invoices and ensuring high service levels are achieved.
-Maintains the facility key control inventory and storage.
-Maintains records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.
-Coordinates the relocation of furniture and equipment within the facility.
-Staff the reception desk and assist with visitor control activities to include in-processing visitors, scheduling conference rooms, assigning parking spaces for VIP visitors, and ensuring all visitors store & secure their electronic devices in accordance with the facilities security procedures.
-Support the operations of a multi-tenant environment, assisting Mission Partners with facility related security requirements as needed to include escorting vendors for facility related modifications, and other duties as assigned.
-Answer all incoming telephone calls, transfer accordingly or take messages and deliver to the intended recipients within the facility in a timely fashion.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
-At least six (6) years of professional work experience, demonstrating reliability, organization, and trustworthiness.
-Ability to perform tasks effectively in a fast paced mission-based facility
Strong attention to detail and willingness to assist customers as needed
-Familiar with working in classified environments and/or classified materials
-Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
-Ability to resolve problems effectively
-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to complete and maintain records

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
-Basic understanding of security protocols
-Experience working with the NISPOM and DoD 5205.07, Volumes 1-4
-Experience with Physical Security standards IAW ICD 705

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:  

TS/SCI, or an Active TS Clearance with an SCI eligibility date
