SAIC is seeking a Principal Program Analyst with space operations experience to support Headquarters Space Operations Command (HQ SpOC) efforts to generate, present, and sustain combat-ready space forces for the U. S. Space Force (USSF). This position supports HQ SpOC’s Orbital Warfare (OW) Mission Area Team (MAT) at Peterson Space Force Base (SFB) in Colorado Springs. The position requires an individual with experience in space operations, working in or with HQ staff [former Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) and/or SpOC], operating in a classified environment, and managing data and documentation supporting military space operations.

Job Specific Responsibilities:

  • Support OW MAT Weapon Systems Leads’ effort to generate, present, and sustain capabilities for Space Delta 9 at Schriever SFB
  • Support and facilitate the efforts of the Integrated Concept Team (ICT) for each supported weapon system to implement SpOC’s Operations Integration and Mission Delivery (OIMD) process
  • Serve as a liaison between HQ SpOC, HQ USSF, Space Delta 9, USSF Field Commands, and other mission partners
  • Understand, work, assign, coordinate and track all ICT actions
  • Advise the customer on internal/external work flow actions, issues, and day-to-day schedule of activities
  • Advise and help leadership prepare internal/external communications, briefings, packages/tasker responses

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science and 9+ years of relevant experience including familiarity with HQ SpOC, the Space Control/OW mission areas, classified work environments, and associated work flows.
  • Requires an active TS/SCI clearance and have a willingness to consent to a Counter-Intelligence (CI) polygraph examination.

Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
