SAIC is seeking a Systems Administrator to add to our AV/IT support team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in implementing and maintaining a network with varying needs and levels of complexity, to include IT and A/V infrastructure and collaboration environments. They will provide a full range of IT support services to customers proactively providing solutions and recommendation to improve customer experience.
The physical environment includes Audio/Visual capabilities including an AV network that connects computer and network end points to two primary video wall capabilities. This AV network is backed by a customer network which includes Windows and Linux servers, NAS, SAN, routers, L2 switches, firewall appliances, as well as a strong reliance on cloud infrastructure provided by a services provider, and other IT components that must be managed and maintained. We are seeking this resource to provide technical expertise in operating and maintaining this environment between the physical cloud based resources.
The systems administrator will work in a team environment and collaboration with other system administrators, networking administrators, and security professionals is a necessity. This individual will need to interact and communicate (in writing and verbally) with teammates, stakeholders, product owners, and executives effectively and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have prior systems or network administration experience, and be able work effectively with a team.
• Must possess current TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Must be DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant (have current CompTIA, Security+ certification)
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent, and 9+ years of experience. Years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
