Job Description


SAIC is seeking a Qualiy Assurance Principal to support to support the US Army Corps of Engineers RITS Program.

This work will be perfomred 100% REMOTE.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Day-to-day quality assurance and control activities for the USACED OCIO/G-6M/IT services improvement program.
  • Focusing on review of demand requests and driving to improve the process and response for these demands.
  • Coordination with individuals at the corporate, enterprise, division, and district levels.
  • Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
  • Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment
  • Conducts quality assurance tests and performs statistical analysis to assess control and manage risks of product quality and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
  • Audits quality systems for development acceptance criteria (parameters based on product result).
  • May undertake root cause analysis of incidents requiring corrective action.
  • Ensures that corrective measures and deviation meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.




BS and 8 years of expereince (4 years of equivalent expereince accepted in lieu of degree)

The qualified candidate should be able to:

  • Receive assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives.
  • Provide guidance to subordinates to achieve goals in accordance with established policies.
  • Perform duties, without appreciable direction, that are reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives with longterm impact and repercussions for the program. 
  • Establish and recommend changes to policies that affect subordinate organization(s).
  • Develops technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. 
  • Guide the successful completion of major programs.
  • Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, and Lean methodologies a plus.
  • Will utilize quality tools to help drive continuous improvement.
  • Must posses an interim secret clearance to start and obtain an active Secret.

Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
