Description
SAIC is looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead a cross-agency and Intelligence Community leading IT Contract that is dynamic in IT integration and architecture development, cyber security, cloud services, data analytics and IT performance measures, and software licensing and services as well as developing and advancing IT policy & strategies. The Senior Program Manager’s role also includes leading a Program Management Office for a large multi-stakeholder IDIQ, coordinating with government components, industry partners, and contract stakeholders.
Duties consists of but are not limited to:
Directing, managing, and administering all tasks with contract team and communicating with the COTR.
Supporting the government sponsor in the evaluation and translation of requirements into tasks.
Providing technical / management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
Ensuring the timely collection, assessment, and reporting of financial and programmatic information for a series of multifaceted program reporting requirements.
Staying apprised of the dynamic mission set and the developing requirements, and assigning contractor personnel to newly developing activities to meet mission deadlines.
Providing goals and plans that meet project objectives.
Directing and controlling activities to ensure technical requirements are promptly met and are reflective of high quality.
Coordinating on a regular basis with government component stakeholders on contract requirements, major deliverables, and team performance.
Informing government leadership of issues and challenges in a timeline manner.
Staffing contract personnel for PMO and direct component support as well as implementing & managing on-boarding activities, which includes but not limited to interviewing candidates and coordinating with the COTR and Security for approval and submission in the security crossover process, respectively.
Ensuring the required level of expertise and competency of contract personnel are maintained in all assignments and keep current with rapidly evolving technologies.
Engaging and briefing SAIC Corporate leadership on the program status, major deliverables, risks, management overview, available funding, staffing levels, and contracts/teaming agreements.
Providing [direct] leadership and management to SAIC corporate personnel and providing administrative guidance on a regular basis.
