Description
SAIC is seeking a Senior Configuration Analyst to support a rapidly growing program support the Space Missile and Systems Center. We need a configuration analyst to work with stakeholders to maintain configuration control of system requirements, model-based system engineering artifacts and system interfaces.
The candidate selected for this position will:

Collaborate with engineering teams in the performance of Configuration Management (CM) tasks and in the execution of configuration control

Support engineering and governance boards, forums, and activities impacting system baselines. In addition to analyzing, updating, and maintaining technical baselines in support of interoperability, integration of IT services/systems, and IT governance for SMC and the EDIS program

Lead and support configuration change tracking and documentation control; efforts include (but are not limited to) concepts of operation, requirements identification and documentation

Guide mid-level and junior-level CM analysts performing CM tasks
This position is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5 or more years of relevant experience; Master’s degree in a technical field and 3 or more years of relevant experience

Minimum 2 years’ experience in configuration analysis and management

Active Top Secret clearance with an ability to obtain a TS/SCI eligibility
-
Experience in configuration and change management principles
-
Work experience in building and maintaining Configuration Management Database environments
Desired Skills and Experience

Experience with Jira and Confluence
-
Configuration Management Principles and Implementation certification
-
Familiarity with SAE EIA-649C principles and applications

Security + certification in support of DOD 8570 certification requirements
