Description

SAIC is in search of a Communications Specialist that will help support our government client. This position will require the development and implementation of policies, processes, and actions that identify, track, and provide overall logistics and support the customer’s projects.  

This role is temporarily remote due to Covid-19.  Associates will report back to the office at the customer's request.

Responsibilities:  

  • Organize events and coordinate all necessary logistics.  
  • Develop and execute client communication plan.   
  • Gather Business Requirements.   
  • Write, edit and coordinate distribution of documents. 
  • Recruiting Event scheduling and logistics coordination. 
  • Content creation and management Social Media sites.  
  • Create event materials.  
  • Develop and distribute communications to user community.  
  • Update logistic management system and budgeting tool as needed.  
  • Work with various teams to ensure all deliverables are met.  

Qualifications

Required Experience & Education

  • Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; May accept additional experience in lieu of degree.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills. 
  • Event planning experience.
  • Experience with Teams, Skype, & Zoom to host online events.

Required Clearance

  • Must hold an active secret clearance or have the ability to obtain an interim secret clearance prior to starting work.
