Description

The Electronics Technician position will support the assembly and integration of analog and digital cables and electronics payloads for use in systems in the realm of signal processing, information processing, and display processing on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) platforms. Assemblies include coaxial cables, RF connectors, and electrical cables, ribbons, combined with complex connectors/in-outs. The technician will work alongside project team members to support the integration of electronics payloads into UAV platforms. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, work environment. This position will be located in the San Diego, CA area.

Job Duties may include:

  • Assembly of digital and analog cables and connectors.
  • Testing of digital and analog cables and connectors.
  • Assembly and integration of electromechanical components.
  • System assembly and testing of payload assemblies, training equipment, and kit packaging.

 

Qualifications

Required education and experience:

  • High School or equivalent and two (2) years of related experience.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience with manufacturing and testing of analog, digital, and Radio Frequency (RF) circuits/systems.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in soldering, crimping, and manufacture of RF, analog, and digital wires.

Required clearance:

  • Must have a minimum active Interim SECRET security clearance.
