SAIC has an immediate need for a Software Engineer to support the MSOC contract at NASA’s Johnson Space Center (JSC) Mission Control Center (MCC) in Houston, TX. This contract develops and sustains ground software for the International Space Station (ISS) and space vehicles that visit the ISS such as the Boeing Starliner, SpaceX Dragon, and the Sierra Nevada Dream Chaser.
Candidate will work in a team environment and be responsible for custom software development and sustaining of software into the MCC to include software design, coding, testing, documentation and mission support.
Required Education and Experience:
Desired Skills / Experiences:
Familiarity with supporting software development projects using Object Oriented programming; knowledge of software development using agile practices; Python, and Java are a plus.
