SAIC is seeking a Software Tester to support The Common Hosting Environment (CHE). The Test Engineer will be responsible testing system components, developing functional and requirement based test procedures, performing tests within an agile process, and reporting test results. This position will be located in Hanahan, SC.

Job Duties:

• Under limited supervision, will perform software testing, analysis and reporting
• Will be responsible for following test procedures and reporting defects
• Will develop functional and integration test procedures to support system and acceptance tests according to requirements provided by the Program Management Office 
• Will develop and run test procedures
• Will work with a cross functional agile teams

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems or related technical discipline and 2 years or more of related experience; or HS and Six (6) years experience.

Required skills:

• Must have experience with VMWare. 
• Software Test experience.

Required clearance:

• Must have an active Secret security clearance.

Required certification:

• Must possess current CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification; or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with USMC software and Combat Operations Center software and servers. 
• Certified Software Test Professional or similar software testing certification
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodology and processes and Test Driven Development
