We are seeking an experienced Policy Analyst to assist in developing program provide goals, objectives, and operational concepts as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team supporting national security objectives in developing the Fort Belvoir North Area (FBNA) Intelligence Community (IC) Campus. Candidate must show experience working in a fast-paced environment that involves balancing competing requirements.

A successful candidate in this position will demonstrate a strong history of assisting the government in establishing goal and objectives, mission and vision statements, policy or requirements statements and documents, or operating concepts.  You will utilize your judgement, experience and subject matter expertise, and decision support tools in the professional body of knowledge in determining solutions. As part of the team, you will be required to support the program office in the execution of various tasks requiring vision, leadership and proficiency in problem identification, analysis, resolution, communications, process improvement, and competency in business services. The candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skill and can interact with department heads and managers.


Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in shaping the establishment of J-PMO goals, objectives, and operational concepts.
  • Provide expert advice and assistance with strategic planning, policy, and business analysis required to establish the J-PMO structure and create the J-PMO documentation.
  • Coordinate with NGA, IC Partner(s), and Fort Belvoir on topics that will affect those stakeholders.
  • Ensure J-PMO concepts are functionally coordinated with IC partners to ensure future operability.
  • Conduct timely and appropriate action tracking for NGA PMO.


   Basic Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance. Must be able to pass counter-intelligence polygraph after hire.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience within the related field.
  • 7 years of demonstrated experience in business policy development.
  • Demonstrated experience navigating ambiguity and proposing innovative solutions to technical issues.
  •  Customer Service experience in federal and or intelligence community. 


  •  Experience working in a program or project management office.
  •  Experience working with the IC.
  •  Experience working with NGA.
