We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to provide professional program/project management support as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team supporting national security objectives in developing the Fort Belvoir North Area (FBNA) Intelligence Community (IC) Campus. Candidate must show experience with working on large program or project management initiatives and working with cross-functional teams. Desired experience includes leading multi-disciplinary program/project management teams within the IC community.

A successful candidate in this position will demonstrate strong leadership and organization of the contractor staffed team.  You will apply your experience in providing senior expertise to support development and establishment of a joint campus while preserving the government customer’s capabilities throughout. As leading this cross-functional team, you will manage risk, customer relationships, and program staffing. As part of the team, you will be required to collaborate with others on strategies and recommended solutions. Excellent presentation and writing skills are required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in developing and implementing IC Campus operational requirements to effectively support NGA and IC Element requirements.
  • Ensure proper considerations on all aspects of the features and staffing included in engineering, design, and construction on the IC Campus with a focus on campus wide features, capabilities, and operational considerations to support all IC partners on-site.
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and engagement strategies.
  • Identify and exploit potential efficiencies created through the development of the joint campus.
  • Establish and maintain effective liaison with IC Partner(s) at the campus, Fort Belvoir, and other Stakeholders.
  • Assist with coordination with NGA, IC Partner(s), and Fort Belvoir on topics that will affect those stakeholders.
  • Evaluate rationale and impact assessments provided by others on impact cost or schedule for planned or ongoing work.
  • Provide timely and informative updates and verification of pending or anticipated decisions in the PMO with NGA’s leadership.
  • Provide adequate advance notice and assessment of requirements for support needed from Components in their functional roles as “Matrixed” staff to the Program Office.
  •  Maintain RT contact information and schedule RT shifts.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance. Must be able to pass counter-intelligence polygraph after hire.
  • Graduate degree and 20 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience working on large program or project management initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross- functional teams.
