SAIC has a great opportunity for a Reliability Engineer to join the US Air Force mission at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. SAIC provides engineering and acquisition support for the replacement of the current Minuteman III weapon system to the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) weapon system. This replacement effort is looking for a Reliability Engineer that will be responsible to:

• ensure the reliability, quality, and compliance of the GBSD ICBM
• coordinate Data analyses and requirements flow-down from field performance, accelerated testing, and predictive modeling
• utilize risk tools including FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysts
• utilize Probabilistic Model-Based Analysis
• ensure proper verification and validation of the requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering,  or related technical degree and 10+ years of experience 
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance
• Ability to obtain a US DoD Top Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools (CAMEO/DOORS)
• Missile design and development experience
• Failure Modeling
• ReliaSoft PRA (Probabilistic Risk Assessment) modeling
• Experience in any of the following: Testing and Integration, Reliability Assessment; Data Analysis for product development; Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA); Probabilistic Model-Based Analysis; 
• Active US DoD Secret Security Clearance granted within the last 5 years
