SAIC is seeking a Computer Operator / Help Desk in North Charleston, SC

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:


Evening/Night shift.

 

 

Minimum Clearance Required: SECRET

 

 

Support a high-volume Naval Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence (C4I) Service Center to include GCCS-M/J, TBMCS, JADOCS, NTCSS, and LMMT.

 

Candidate will perform basic troubleshooting methods to remotely isolate Fleet problems from a system level perspective to a sub system resolution.

 

Candidate will document precise details of system problems for analysis by Tier III support elements, as needed. 

 

Perform Service Center Trouble Ticket status checks with both internal and external customers. 

 

Provide on call metrics reports utilizing Microsoft Excel and the trouble ticket analytics-reporting tool. 

 

Candidate will be on-call over weekends on a rotational basis with other team members and may be required to work extended hours, as needed.

 

 

 

Qualifications Section:

 

 

 

Required Education and Experience:

 

 

 

 

 

 

Active DoD Secret clearance.

 

1+ years of prior IT Helpdesk related work experience in a Windows call center environment.

 

 

1+ years of experience with HEAT, TrackIT, Magic, Remedy, Peregrine, or other Ticketing systems is a must.

 

Experience supporting Microsoft Office and Windows OS in an enterprise environment.

 

Strong Oral and written communication skills.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

AA Degree and 4 years of experience or High School diploma or GED and 6 years total experience.
