SAIC is rapidly growing a System Integration team to deliver a new, complex space and ground system in support of National Security. This exciting and innovative program is leveraging best practices in system engineering, via Digital Engineering processes and technology, and in Agile software development, via DevSecOps development. This new, long term contract will require energetic engineers to define and integrate major space systems and associated ground elements from concept into an operational enterprise.

SAIC is seeking a Program Protection Specialist to develop critical program protection strategies for this new program, including Identification of Critical Program Information (CPI), Supply Chain Risk Management, and Program Protection Planning development, and implementation to ensure comprehensive, consistent protection strategies are incorporated into the planning and execution of this program.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Devise and help implement innovative Program Protection strategies to secure sensitive technologies and capabilities
• Assist in identification of Critical Program Information, capabilities, and components.
• Work with CI personnel to examine and recommend mitigation measures based on specific program risk assessments, keeping program cost, schedule, and ultimate program capability in mind.
• Perform, or support, security inspections, identify security discrepancies and prepare reports
• Researches topics and collaborates with stakeholders to understand threat vectors
• Identify threat tactics and methodologies as well as intelligence gaps and shortfalls
• Monitor and report changes in threat dispositions, activities, tactics, capabilities, objectives, etc.
• Ability to work quickly, and a willingness to complete ad hoc, time sensitive assignments.

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Professional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience developing Program Protection Plans (PPP).
• Experience with open source intelligence research and methodologies
• Experience implementing Supply Chain Risk & Security Management.
• Demonstrated oral and written communications skills, ability to document technical analysis and articulate outcomes to non-technical audiences.

Clearance Requirements:

• Current TS Clearance with ability to upgrade
