Job Description


SAIC is seeking a Technical Writer and Graphic Designer at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develops and designs instructional and informational tools needed to assure safe, appropriate, and effective use of science and technology, intellectual property, and manufactured products and services.
• Combines multimedia knowledge and strong communication skills with technical expertise to educate across the entire spectrum of users’ abilities, technical experience, and visual and auditory capabilities.
• Drafting & designing brochures, catalogs and creating publications.
• Design logos and user pamphlets.


Required Education and Experience


  • Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; OR Masters and one year of related experience

  • Active DOD Secret clearance

  • 3 years of Technical Writer experience

  • 1 year of Graphic Design experience 

  • Previous experience supporting the DOD.

  • Continuous process improvement experience – tasking comes indirectly and need to address user concerns. Must have great critical thinking skills.

  • Experience in using MS Office, Adobe Connect, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator Adobe Dream Weaver, Adobe Video Editor, Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Captivate, AVS Video Editor, OR AVS Audio Editor.

Desired Skills:
  • Multimedia design experience
  • Previous Military MOS – Combat Camera or Public Affairs
