Primary duties are to support CI/CD architecture and manage software DevOps engagement for multiple projects. Our customer's federal organization is in the process of migrating a large group of custom software applications from a traditional data center to the AWS cloud. The effort involves automating build & deployment processes in a sustainable fashion. You will support the effort by establishing & managing a CI/CD pipeline in a new VPC and work to on-board projects into the new cloud environment. You will work with a small team of DevOps and software engineers to engage project teams as they refactor & migrate their applications. Strong understanding of software architecture, Docker container management and cloud operations is required for this position. Java, .NET and Web development experience is also required. AWS DevOps certification preferred.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience
