SAIC has a potential opportunity for a Site Storefront Manager to support a DLA Troop Support Construction and Equipment program.  The work is contingent upon contract award which is anticipated in early 2022 and will be located on site at Fort Polk, LA.

The Site Manager will be responsible to coordinate and perform all necessary functions to establish and maintain adequate stock and supply levels, oversee shop store, ensure successful and timely instances of facility installation MRO goods to end-users, and manage the contractor staff.  This individual will act as a liaison between procurement and customer support operation.   Responsible for managing procurement, sourcing, inventory management, logistics, customer service, contract compliance, and special ordering activities at Fort Polk.  The Site Manager monitors team performance, supports the hiring process, trains staff, develops and maintains work schedules, and ensures the team meets key performance indicators, such as inventory levels, on time deliveries, customer satisfaction, and regular meetings with Fort Polk Leadership. Duties include: Manage all activities within the Storefront, act as point of contact with the customer, and work in conjunction with Program Director to ensure all contractual requirements are met.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • High School Diploma or GED  
  • Four years experience 
  • Must be able to meet security requirements for military base access
  • Experience with MRO, building, and industrial products
  • Experience working in a U.S. Military installation environment, preferably with prior military supply experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills 
  • Customer Service experience a plus
  • Strong computer skills, including expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Must pass a NCIC check 
  • Must have a valid state drivers license
